Hi everyone and happy November!  This coming month is bringing a couple of very exciting performances, as well as a new recording project with one of my favorite bands, Ben Sutin's Klazz-Ma-Tazz.  Hope to see you at one of the following concerts:

Ben Rosenblum Trio Returns to the Kitano (Wendesday, November 1st):

This Wednesday, November 1st (sets at 8pm and 10pm), I'll be bringing my trio back to one of my favorite venues, The Kitano in Midtown Manhattan. This show is particularly special because I will be joined by two of my best musical friends, Ben Rubens on bass and Ben Zweig on drums. The Bens and I have been playing together as a trio for almost seven years now, and it's always a joy to play with them.  For more info, visit http://www.kitano.com/Jazz-Schedule.

Deborah Davis/Ben Rosenblum Duo at the 1867 Sanctuary in Ewing, New Jersey (Friday, November 10th):

On Friday, November 10th at 8pm, the great jazz vocalist Deborah Davis and I will perform at the beautiful 1867 Sanctuary in Ewing, NJ.  This is my second performance at the 1867 Sanctuary after my solo piano concert here in July.  I love what they do here, and I'm very happy to be returning for an intimate show with one of my favorite singers.

Other News:

On November 4th and 5th, I will be at the great Systems Two Recording Studios to record with Ben Sutin's Klazz-Ma-Tazz! This is the second CD
we will record as a group, and it's going to be a great time.  In case you don't know anything about this group, you can learn more us at http://www.bensutinmusic.com/klazz-ma-tazz.  I will also be continuing my weekly Thursday residency with jazz giant Curtis Lundy at Orama in Edgewater, NJ (we are off this coming Thursday, but we will be returning on Thursday, November 9th).  On Tuesday, November 7th, I'll be at Minton's with drummer JC Polo's Latin Jazz project, and I'll be making a couple appearances with singer Katini Yamaoka and guitarist Michael Sheridan.  As always, you can check my schedule at https://www.benrosenblummusic.com/schedule.html for the most up-to-date information about upcoming performances.

Thanks for your continuing support, and all the best!

Music is the only thing that can soothe my soul right now. For this reason alone, I choose to listen only to praises and people chanting the holy names. It never really let us down before. If I am undergoing a lot of stress as of the moment, all I need to do is try my best to will myself to feel happy and contented just being able to listen to something that can sound really positive. I was told before, any venture that does not have the Lord as the top most reason for doing so, is destined to a great failure and disappointment. I guess this includes the kind of music we make and listen to.

Hi Ben! I'm thrilled to hear about your November schedule. It's always a joy to see the Ben Rosenblum Trio perform, especially at The Kitano, a venue that truly captures the essence of jazz in Midtown Manhattan. The chemistry between you, Ben Rubens, and Ben Zweig is palpable and makes for an unforgettable experience. I'm also looking forward to your collaboration with Deborah Davis at the 1867 Sanctuary—her voice combined with your piano skills will surely create a magical evening. The recording project with Ben Sutin's Klazz-Ma-Tazz sounds fantastic too; their unique blend of styles is always refreshing. I'll be keeping an eye on your schedule and hope to catch one of your performances this month. Keep up the amazing work and thanks for sharing your music with us!

Many homework on the continual hunt along with offstage on the road to winning. Definitely not attached, simple to-fall as a result of wayside; And not investigation, afterward into a path travel toward the black.

Nothing compares to Weber using Genesis sort of grills. That is certainly the type gas grills which have been that will always make sure that they deliver a high performance part of down interval

    ben Rosenblum

Award-winning New York City jazz pianist and accordionist Ben Rosenblum has been described as “mature beyond his years,” (Sea of Tranquility), an “impressive talent” (All About Jazz), who “caresses [the music] with the reverence it merits” (Downbeat Magazine). Since the release of his debut trio album, Instead (4 stars, Downbeat), Rosenblum has toured extensively with his trio and sextet throughout the United States, including multiple trips to the Northeast, Midwest, South and West Coast, and internationally  in Canada, Europe and Japan. He was a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall's Stern-Perelman Auditorium (with Reona Ito's New York Harmonic Band) and has appeared at prestigious venues throughout the world, including at the Appel Room at Lincoln Center, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Ravinia, Himawari-No-Sato Concert Hall in Yokohama, Bird's Eye in  Basel and the Library of Congress. Rosenblum's second trio album in 2018, River City, was called “richly romantic” and “well-realized” by JAZZIZ Magazine, which featured the title track as part of their Best of Fall 2018 CD. Most recently, Rosenblum released his third album, Kites and Strings, which is the first to feature him on both piano and accordion alongside his new sextet, the Nebula Project. In 2020, the Nebula Project was voted runner-up for Best New Artist in JazzTimes' Readers' Poll. Rosenblum has been privileged to share the stage with many highly acclaimed jazz musicians, including extensive work with Curtis Lundy, Winard Harper, Deborah Davis and Chris Washburne, as well as appearances with Bobby Watson, Sean Jones, TS Monk, Warren Wolf, Eliot Zigmund, and many others. Rosenblum's musical interests also extend beyond jazz to include work in numerous world music scenes, including musical styles from Brazil, Peru, Croatia, Bulgaria, India, Ireland, Jewish traditions and more.
